David Ash attended the University of Texas on a football scholarship and wound up playing quarterback for two years, posting an undefeated record in bowl games before injuries sidelined him. The University graciously continued to honor his scholarship allowing him to complete his undergraduate degree in Corporate Communications as well as his Masters in Finance from the McCombs School of Business. While finishing up graduate school he served as the youth pastor at Bannockburn in Dripping Springs.
He feels like wealth management is a unique way in which he gets to combine his passion for people with his formal training in finance. With this in mind he felt that the independent platform that Grace Capital Management provides would allow him to serve the interests of his clients most efficiently, and effectively.
Family is very important to David. Most of his family still lives in Belton, where he grew up with three brothers and two sisters (bless his mother’s heart). He also has three wonderful nieces and two nephews who are loads of fun. When David isn’t spending time with friends, and family, he enjoys playing guitar, baking cookies, and mentoring younger quarterbacks on leadership and fundamentals.
